Microsoft Cortana is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Microsoft for Windows Phone 8.1, Microsoft Band, and Windows 10.
It is named after Cortana, an artificial intelligence character in Microsoft's Halo video game series, with Jen Taylor, the character's voice actress, returning to voice the personal assistant's US-specific version.
With Microsoft's cloud infrastructure, all of your files will be accessible on all of your devices regardless of where they were created. Windows 10 for phones will be like an extension of your PC, featuring universal Windows apps that share the same format as the PC, and is synchronized across Windows 10 devices with its universal notifications.
Windows 10 will be integrated with the New Edge browser that replaces the earlier Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Microsoft Edge is at the cutting edge of new browser technology. Microsoft Edge browser will allow you to write directly on web pages and share your notes with others. You will be able to read articles without clutter or go read article offline when a connection is not available.
Your gaming experiences with Xbox and your PC will be getting a significant boost. The the Xbox One app on Windows 10 can control the Xbox One through a virtual remote control allowing for a more immersive experience. Windows 10 also introduces the new Windows key + G keyboard shortcut that brings up an interface for saving snapshots and 30 second video clips of your gaming experiences. The shortcut fires up an Xbox app that allows you to directly share that experience with your social circle. This is an overlay by Windows 10 and doesn't have to be integrated with existing or new games.
